1. How far is the Hotel Excelsior from the sea?
The distance from the sea is just 100 meters, as you can verify on the map on the "Contacts" page.
2. How far is the hotel from the center of Cervia?
Hotel Excelsior is located on the central Viale Roma, about 650 meters from the historic center's quadrilatero (quadrilateral/square). Furthermore, the hotel is located less than 400 meters from Borgomarina, the port canal area where you can stroll or stop for a drink in the various venues along the promenade.
3. From what time is the room I booked available?
Your comfort is our priority. We will do our best to deliver your room as soon as possible. If it has not been occupied the previous night, it will be ready from the morning. Otherwise, we will prepare it with the utmost care as soon as it is available, guaranteeing perfect cleaning and tidying by 1:00 PM on the day of arrival.
Check-in is available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
If your arrival is scheduled after 8:00 PM, do not worry: our night porter service will be happy to welcome you and provide assistance even late in the evening.
4. On the day of departure, until what time can I use the room?
The room on the day of departure must be vacated by 10:00 AM. Upon request, and based on availability, the use of the room can be scheduled for an extended time (for example, until evening). This option must however be expressly agreed with the reception and may involve an additional cost (Late Check-Out).
5. Does the hotel have parking? Where can I park my car?
For the convenience of our guests, Hotel Excelsior has a private, unattended outdoor parking area with 30 parking spaces. To guarantee a parking space, we recommend booking in advance (booking is subject to availability). The cost of the service is €8.00 per day and your space will be reserved for the entire duration of your stay, with guaranteed 24-hour access. Upon arrival, we invite you to contact the reception to receive directions to your parking space.
In the immediate vicinity of the hotel there are also several public parking areas, some free and others paid (blue lines).
6. If I decide to come on vacation by train/bus, how do I get to your hotel?
Hotel Excelsior is located approximately 800 meters from both the Cervia train station and the bus stop.

7. What is included in the full board price?
The full board price includes overnight stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner; water is included with meals (all other drinks are excluded).
The accessory services of the rooms are also included: air conditioning/heating.
The use of our heated and coverable swimming pool is also included.
8. What are your restaurant hours?
Lunch is served from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Dinner is served from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
9. What kind of service does the hotel restaurant offer?
A self-service buffet of appetizers, fresh vegetables and baked gratins is also available. In order to guarantee the variety and freshness of the culinary offerings, the menu is renewed daily and a themed evening dedicated to Romagna tradition is offered weekly.
10. How are you organized for people with celiac disease, intolerances or different dietary needs?
Our dining room staff will be available to provide assistance throughout your stay.
Regarding the needs of celiac customers, it is specified that the structure does not have a separate kitchen for the preparation of gluten-free foods. However, rigorous operating procedures are adopted in order to minimize the risk of accidental contamination.
11. How is the hotel organized to accommodate young children?
Children are welcome at Hotel Excelsior!
We love to pamper them and offer dedicated services to make their vacation special.
Upon request from our customers, we are able to prepare customized menus, with baby food and dishes such as vegetable broths, vegetable purees, minced meat and fish, also paying attention to food intolerances.
To meet the needs of families, we offer flexible meal times.
Upon request, you will also find useful amenities for children in the room, such as camping beds with linen, custom-made mattresses, waterproof mattress protectors and anti-fall bed rails.
12. Is Wi-Fi available?
Stay connected for free during your stay! We offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, allowing you to browse, work or share your special moments wherever you are, even by the pool. Just connect to the "Excelsior" network.
13. How is access to the pool organized? What are the hours?
Our pool, a true gem of over 100 square meters, offers a relaxing and wellness experience in every season. The heated water maintains an ideal temperature for both swimming and a pleasant bath. The telescopic cover allows you to enjoy the pool even in case of rain or wind.
The depth, which gradually varies from 1.30 meters to a maximum of 2.30 meters, makes it suitable for various aquatic activities, satisfying both those seeking a refreshing cool-down and those who wish to keep fit with a workout.
For your comfort, we provide pool/beach towels, sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool.
14. How is the beach service organized?
For guests who have booked the room with the Beach Service included, Hotel Excelsior guarantees, in the price, access to the beach with 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds (from the fifth row onwards) at one of the partner beach establishments: Bagno Lido Beach or Bagno Playa Caribe.
Guests who have not included the Beach Service in the booking can still take advantage of discounted rates at our partner establishments.
15. Are pets allowed?

Guide dogs for the blind are instead allowed, without limitations, as established by Law n. 37 of 1974, integrated by Law n. 60 of February 8, 2006.
A person with a visual disability can therefore travel anywhere with their faithful companion.
16. Is there a night concierge service in the hotel?
If your arrival is scheduled after 8:00 PM, do not worry: our night porter service will be happy to welcome you. Hotel Excelsior guarantees access to the structure at any time, thanks to the presence of the night porter.
